Cookies keep your cart together, remember your preferences and help us measure and improve the store. Here is what we use on telra-usa.com, and how to manage it.

Categories of Cookies

We group our cookies into four categories:

  • Essential (always on): Shopify cookies that run the cart, checkout, login and security, such as cart, _shopify_s, _shopify_y, _secure_session_id, secure_customer_sig.
  • Functional: remember your currency, language and dismissed banners (localization, keep_alive).
  • Performance and analytics: Shopify analytics and Google Analytics cookies (_shopify_sa_p, _landing_page, _ga, _gid) that show us which pages work and which do not, in aggregated form.
  • Marketing: pixels and cookies from Meta and Google (_fbp, _gcl_au) that measure our ads and personalise the ones you see elsewhere; you can opt out at any time.

About Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Some are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay for a set period (persistent cookies). "First-party" cookies are set by telra-usa.com; "third-party" cookies are set by services we use, such as analytics and advertising platforms. We also use similar technologies — pixels, local storage and SDKs — which this policy treats in the same way.

Third Parties That Set Cookies

The third parties that may set cookies on telra-usa.com are Shopify (platform and analytics), Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) and the payment methods you select (checkout security), Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta (Facebook/Instagram pixel), and the apps we use for reviews, tracking and email. Each processes the data under its own privacy policy; we do not control their cookies, but we only allow them for the purposes described here.

Retention

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last between 30 minutes (session-tracking) and 13 months (analytics and advertising identifiers), after which they expire unless renewed by a new visit. You can delete any cookie earlier through your browser settings.

How to Control Cookies

You are in control. Everyone can manage cookies in the browser (settings → privacy) — note that disabling essential cookies breaks the cart and checkout. To stop targeted advertising, use the controls on the Cookie preferences page, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser (we treat it as an opt-out), or use optout.aboutads.info. Google offers a browser add-on to block Google Analytics.
